A sunny walk

So I didn't realise I'd blend into the background quite so much in these photos- Hopefully you can just about make me out!
Believe it or not, I wasn't on a secret covert mission, but a sunny walk with my boyfriend. This Topshop jumpsuit has been a firm favourite for a couple of years now, and although it's a bit (a lot) tighter than it was, I still love dressing it up or down. Luckily for me, this print has made a comeback this summer so there's still a lot of use in this bad boy yet!

I really wasn't joking when I said I was wearing my Adidas Superstars every day! I honestly haven't discovered a single outfit they don't go with. What the HELL did I do without them?!

Side splittin'

Hey loves, how the hell is your week going? Mine is a bit of an emotional rollercoaster due to the fact that I decided to start the 5:2 diet this week- which basically means fasting for two days (500 calorie limit!), and then 20000 for five days. Am I crazy? Perhaps. Does it work? Apparently so! This sudden need to drop the pounds is a result of my blog photos- some of which are in this post. I sure had some junk in my trunk on Sunday, when I embraced the short-lived sun with a split maxi skirt from Topshop. Needless to say the sun lasted about an hour, by which point I was out shopping, looking like a total knob in this skimpy outfit. Do I not know England at all by now?!

I hope you're all gearing up for the weekend, and I'll catch you in my next post- that's if I haven't wasted away by then!

Made in the 80's...

Hey loves! Hope you've all had a lovely weekend. I'm currently on the sofa wrapped up in blanket  watching old box sets of The Hills- aren't Sundays a wonderful thing?!

Just a casual one today- a weird mix of my 2 year old Mom jeans which are now awkwardly too small, and a size 20 blazer that I bought in a charity shop. Like I said, weird. This T shirt is actually oversized and can be worn as a dress, but I seem to be going through a phase of tying my T Shirts up at the front. A bit Saved by the Bell...

Yet another post which really urges me to have a health kick... Sigh! I'll start tomorrow. Maybe.

Digging out the Reebok Classics...

Why is choosing your outfit when the sun comes out so much more fun? Granted, it was still freezing cold yesterday but the blue skies definitely put a spring in my step and had me looking at some different items in my wardrobe other than the jumper/ jeans combo I have been reaching for day after day for the last few months!
I've had this week off work to do absolutely nothing- and it's been AMAZING. Yesterday I went for lunch with the parents and opted for this chilled outfit. I actually bought the white T Shirt in All Saints the day before for an amazing £13! The jacket was a Primark bargain, and the ripped jeans are of course Topshop.
Now I bought these Reebok Classics for about £20 YEARS ago, when they were still very uncool. I had no idea that they had a revival coming, but am pretty glad as they are the most comfortable trainers I own.
God I need some sun. My skin is almost the same shade as my white nails in these pictures- CRINGE.

Hope you're all having a great week,

The white leather jacket

A bit of a basic bitch outfit for you today- but honestly my style is becoming more and more simple as time goes on. This very cold but beautifully bright day called for my trusty leather leggings (at over 2 years old, I wear them 90% of the time and have no idea how they're not splitting at the seams- well done, Topshop), a black slogan tee from Zara, and my white biker jacket from Pull and Bear.
This outfit isn't even quite simple enough for my liking- in an ideal world I'd be wearing a plain black tee. As I said, basic bitch.
My black New Balance are permanently attached to my feet, and I'm still pretty chuffed about this Topshop bag.
I spent this weekend away with the boy in a hotel celebrating Burns Night, so am now nursing a whiskey induced hangover with E.T on the tv and a pack of chocolate digestives. It's cheat day (slash weekend...!)

One day I'll be able to watch the end of E.T. At 28 I'm not quite there yet.

Vintage Nike

Ok, so I'm not entirely sure if this is vintage or not... I got the T shirt in a charity shop for £3 and cut the bottom off. Regardless of if it's vintage or not, I love it. I teamed it with this maxi skirt from Topshop and my trusty Primark backpack.

I hope you're all enjoying the ridiculously hot weather! I can't seem to stop moaning about it although really should be making the most of it- knowing the UK it'll be snowing by the weekend!

Denim, checks and lace....

No one loves a 'photo in front of a mirror before a night out' more than me, fact! This technically wasn't a night out, more a boozy daytime sesh that eventually turned into an evening thang. The best type.
It was a really warm day, so I dug out this denim badboy, which I got in Topshop a couple of years ago. I forgot how bum cheek skimming the playsuit is, so put a pair of lace cycling shorts on underneath and voila, bum cheek situation sorted.
In the daytime I paired the playsuit with a checked shirt (a charity shop number, originally from Gap), and my white Converse high tops.
When the evening came around I just took the shirt off, and swapped the converse for a pair of monochrome cut-out boots.
This belt was such a good little find, costing me a bargainous £2.99 from New Look a little while back.

Third post in a week... look at me go!

A payday haul...

Every payday, without fail, I go shopping. And at the end of every payday, without fail, I regret it.
I literally can't stop that urge to go and spend all my money on pretty things. *First World Problems*.

The idea is that I go to Primark and just get rid of my urge there, causing as little damage as possible. This is all well and good, until I visit a million shops on the way to Primark. Oh Goddam.

I went into Zara pretty innocently, until I noticed they'd literally but the whole store into the sale and I was like a girl possessed. I stumbled across a little gem which I'd been hunting out for WEEKS. A pastel pink 'leather' biker jacket. Oh so beaut. I had to get it in a Large, because apparently, according to Zara I'm Large. Anyone else have these issues?
It was still £50 which on reflection isn't actually that cheap, which is why it's pictured here still with all the tissue around the zips, and it's currently still sat unloved in the bag. I'm still not sure whether I can justify a £50 pink leather jacket in the middle of summer.

The Topshop sale also lured me in, where I picked up a dusky pink purse, reduced from £16 to £5. Amazing as I'd put this on my birthday wishlist a few weeks ago!

The last two purchases were from Primark, by which point I was feeling a tad guilty. I'd had my eye on this white backpack since it arrived in store, and as my black version is dying a slow death, I thought I'd get this for £9. Primark's bag game is STRONG at the moment, and for a while I was carrying 6 bags around the store. I put all of them back, apart from this adorable cream bag. It's got lovely black zip detail, and the material has been made to look very Alexanda Wang'esque. A steal at £6!

So what shall I do with this jacket?!
